I've always said, the more powerful the song, the more powerful the video can be, IF you do it right. Most of you reading this may not know who this guys is because he is a Christian artist, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to make great music. He's been around for years and he released a video recently that focuses on the troubles this world faces right now. Let's break it down.
In the beginning, you see a classic style of editing, which is small clips of what is to come in the story. The main focus of the story revolves around 3 key characters that end up in the same situation and are on different ends of the spectrum. If you watch the story, you'll instantly feel some sympathy for the old man. Most of us now are looking at these situations and wish that someone would just be the one that calm all the madness down and in this case, it's the old man.
This video could easily cost $100,000 just for the actors and rights to film on location, not to mention the equipment and props that were used to make the video alone. You can tell they used some steadicam equipment, camera cranes and some high quality lenses to get all the night shots looking as amazing as they do. Keep in mind when you have steadicam equipment, you'll need 2 people working one camera because you have to have one person guiding the other person holding the camera because his main focus is the shot itself. So that's 2 salaries you have to pay to get shots like that, at least. Some steadicam rigs require more people depending on how complex the rig is.
We all have our opinions about what's going on in the world today, not just about the events all over the world, but the events taking place in our own backyard. It's nice to see when people show a different angle to situations like this because we usually only see certain things and never really have a resolution to these situations.
